One Million iPhones sold in first weekend

According to Apple, the millionth iPhone 3G was sold yesterday (Sunday, July 13th), across 21 countries. This is a groundbreaking feat for Apple, it took 74 days to sell this many first-gen iPhones on launch.
Along with the iPhone theme this morning, Apple also reported that on the same day, the App store reached 10 million downloads. The App store has also reached 800 different Apps for download.
Despite the technical difficulties, this was more-than-successful launch for both Apple and the App store.
